She's Muffin But Trouble

There's a Full Moon tomorrow...

I'm definitely feeling the tension of it. I'm sure a lot of
you other Highly Sensitive People are experiencing the effects of stress, busy schedules, errands and fatigue. Blogging gives me a nice break and some needed downtime.

I've been sitting here with my Earl Grey Tea reading through your posts. I feel grateful to learn more about all of you through your blogs; to see into each of your worlds and perspectives :)

For this, I dedicate my morning muffin to all of you, my friends...

I love how the strawberry ontop is heart-shaped!

I can't remember the last time I made a big stir-fry for lunch!
Although it's typically "Meatless Monday" I had to break the rules...

I get a little Savage-esque if I don't get my protein...

Bison stir-fry with pinto beans, broccoli, celery, spinach,
swiss chard, red onion, spices and mustard.

Later in the day I got lazy and snacked on fresh local cherries. By dinner I wasn't in a cooking mood so I threw together a quick turkey and tomato sandwich.

Buttered bread with organic turkey slices, tomato, and sprouts.

Oh and just to update, the wheat trial is far exceeding my wildest expectations. I'm feeling really good and remain symptom-free.
I also don't crave sugar like I used to!!!

I wish I could say i'm going to spend tonight relaxing and sit here finishing
my tea but I have a stale green bedroom that needs painting,
and a bucket of lavender paint that needs to be put to use.

  13. in Ashtanga yoga, we are not supposed to practice on full moon or new moon (we call them "moon days"). the theory is that, like the tides, our body (made up of mostly water) is governed by the moon's physical presence. on full or new moons, our bodies are the least stable, and our emotions are like roller coasters. practicing on those days can easily lead to injuries. so moondays are days of rest.

haha that's probably more than you want to hear. sorry i tend to ramble...maybe i should do a post on this ;)

  15. How weird is it that I have exactly the same coloured room to paint!
I think my mum almost crashed the car yesterday because she was memorised by the beauty of the moon, definitely does funny things.
I realised yesterday I have a hidden talent for peeling tomatoes! Thank you for reminding me.
Hope the full moon hasn't driven you insane

Um, my secret talent is making food disappear from the pantry so fast you don't even have time to say "hey presto". I'm sneaky that way. hehe.
