Don't worry, I won't swear like I did in this post about my pants not fitting
...but it turns out, I have more jeans that are too small for me now!
It was emotional for me to accept that my body is changing... even though I
realize that the physical changes aren't super noticeable. But I am 21, not too far
from 22, therefore human nature insists I look less like a 14 year old haha
Without dwelling on what is or what could be, I am saying goodbye
to these 7 pants... which means theres room in my closet for 7 more :)
You're doing so well with this! I had SUCH a difficult time accepting that a lot of my pants wouldn't fit. One day I had to swoop in and donate most of them because I was sick of 'trying' to fit in to them and becoming depressed.
ReplyDelete:)
I feel like people (not just women, trust me! I've heard some guys who go on about this crap too) end up internalizing when pants don't fit/ clothes don't fit. The clothes should fit us, not the other way around :)
ReplyDeleteHaul em off and have a nice minimalist moment!

Awesome attitude! Definitely share you new jeans when you get them! I want to see!
ReplyDeleteI think this is very logical reasoning for a shopping spree. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving your 'tude woman! Amen to actually having the body ofa 21 year old, I'm loving it as well!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you think!
ReplyDeleteGoodbye old pants, but like you say hello 7 new ones :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
You are beautiful! And you are absolutely RIGHT! We are grown women and our bodies are meant to look that way. HUG xoxo
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone's got a good excuse to spend some cash :)
ReplyDeleteyou totally have the right attitude, girlfriend :)
I love your positive attitude! Your body is meant to change and grow over time, and you'll still be left looking absolutely beautiful despite what pants you grow out of. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to think about you the next time I try to squeeze into my too tight pants. You're right - we shouldn't dwell on it. I have to accept the fact that if I want my body to carry children in the near future, I need a little meat on my bones and some hips below my waist!!
ReplyDeleteglad you have a good attitude about it!
ReplyDeleteHooray for lots of space for new pairs of jeans! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember how liberating it was to finally clear my closet of all the pants I would never fit into again so I could finally purchase and wear clothes that fit and flattered my figure... goooo you! :)
ReplyDeleteMy pants are getting a little snug too! Well, more than a little snug. It's hard for me to accept that I have to go up a size :(
ReplyDeleteI had to get rid of a few pants, too this year....Yay for new pants!!!
ReplyDeleteI did this over the weekend. Some of the jeans just won't ever be worn again and there's no point of taking up good closet space. But I still got a little sentimental :)
ReplyDeleteI just got rid of some pants that don't fit me. I still have more that need to go and this post is seriously helping me with the push I needed to get rid of the rest. :)
ReplyDeleteGo you for having such a rockin' attitude! Love ya girl!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS attitude!!
ReplyDeleteI will consider this my own pant's challenge...get rid of seven pairs. I already did it once, thanks to you.
ReplyDeleteAnd you, of course are beautiful...just don't lose the weight after winter settles...that's where I run into trouble.
Good for you!!!!! You are an inspiration :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your attitude!
ReplyDeleteYou've got an admirable attitude! And hey, it's always good to have curves :)
ReplyDeleteI've just donated a lot of clothes. If they don't fit anymore, it's time to say goodbye.
