These bars sound so good! I learned that the snacks were developed after Francine Burnett's son was diagnosed with Autism
ReplyDeleteI just checked out their site -- I didn't know they made chili mix -- I suddenly have a crazy craving for chili. Sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I learned from the webpage that the founder started the company for her son's diet who is on the Autism Spectrum. I work with kids with Autism and usually the common diet is gluten/ casein free, and while gluten free is pretty easy to find, casein is a bit sneakier and less often labelled.
ReplyDeleteThey look DELICIOUS! I hope I win!
Hi! I'm from Abbotsford, British Columbia and I've never heard of Francine's food bars. The website says they're located in Kelowna. Always great to have locally made food around. Hope to win!
ReplyDeleteThose bars look incredible! I've never seen them out at this end of the country (Ontario) but I'd love to try them! Those protein bars..mmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI think it's really neat that everything was started out by a mother taking the task into her own hands of creating food that her autistic son, and many others with food intolerances and sensitivities, would be able to eat.
Awesome! I saw those at a health food store and I noticed that they're local. Probably even closer to me than you. It was really surprising actually. From the site I found it so interesting why she came up with the ideas for her bars. <3
ReplyDeletei learned they've only got a few US locations, so i'm hoping i win this giveaway so i get to try it!

ReplyDeleteThis lady makes gooooood eats. I have tried all the bars and the noodles with cheeezeeey sauce. I love how when I eat her products it feels like I am enjoying a tasty care package food gift from a family member, not something created in a grunge factory a million miles from me. I am so lucky! I make sure to stock up on her bars when I am in Nanaimo!Unfortunately she is too popular there and they are often out of stock! If I win or not, I am defiantly buying a box full or treats from her someday!
ReplyDeleteHearts,
-Sam
