And only YOU have the power and knowledge to make that decision. I struggled with the "to be or not to be" gluten-free question, and finally figured out what worked best for me. People don't always understand, and are often critical, but I feel good and that's what matters when it comes to personal health. I'm behind you no matter what you decide! <3Sara @ Nourish and Flourishhttp://www.nourish-and-flourish.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-15175485670433173312011-03-06T20:48:36.833-08:002011-03-06T20:48:36.833-08:00Yes, my dear girl, as almost everyone has said...y...Yes, my dear girl, as almost everyone has said...you need to do what is best for you and your body. Antidepressants "work," but just how they work isn't fully understood. Food is even more of a wild card. Instead of nailing everything down to a science, trial and error's usually the best way of figuring out what makes you feel good and what doesn't.

And things change. When I was on AD's, coffee tasted like battery acid to me. Now I love it again. I used to puke when I ate raw oysters. Now I don't.

It's great you're experimenting! I strongly believe in experimenting with diet and seeing how your body reacts. For me, I always have problems with my dry skin, and have been allergy tested. Even though the doctors said I am not allergic to wheat or nuts etc etc, I know my body and at certain times of the day or in certain combinations some foods just do not do well for me. I also think the time of year and your emotional state affects what you can and can not eat. I'm also getting into Ayurveda which may help you as well.

Take care and I hope you feel better!

AAsha at Adventure's in Ashalandhttp://ashaadventures.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-3751579226829788282011-03-06T10:32:43.271-08:002011-03-06T10:32:43.271-08:00I understand you. I did the same thing about Red 40 dye. For my son, he can NOT have it and I know it affects his behaviors.
