You can get rid of a lot of it by rinsing the rice before cooking. I don't know how much that would affect the flour-making process. You might be able to rinse and then dry it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06400990751341205709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-16553775671541722022012-10-13T05:26:17.508-07:002012-10-13T05:26:17.508-07:00This tutorial seems a bit more in depth but I'...This tutorial seems a bit more in depth but I'm thinking it may help with consistency. Going to try both. Thanks! I've immediately sent the link to my mom (my parents both switched to a gf diet a couple of months ago, due to my dad getting gradually aggravating bowel issues over the past years that eventually reached a life-threatening state with emergency hostipal stays every three or four months, and the gf diet already helped a lot with this), and she was very excited and told me that she wanted to dig out her food processor and try this. You know, she's a baker, and my dad loves bakes goodies. ;)Kath (My Funny Little Life)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10295143356577259844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-68814112838243365812011-11-27T07:10:01.820-08:002011-11-27T07:10:01.820-08:00I'm going to get myself a food processor! But I do make my own rice porridge by sticking rice in the coffee grinder....then I cook it like cream of wheat. I haven't tried any harder grains, because they really kick the crap out of your machines, and tend to make the plastic jar/bowl go cloudy. But you are right, it seems silly to buy flours when they are so much more expensive than grinding your own.Marianne (frenchfriestoflaxseeds)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04164021241806320844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-15972052986736093802011-11-26T17:32:17.756-08:002011-11-26T17:32:17.756-08:00This is awesome!
