I'm either gonna do that tonight or tomorrow. :)

The Root Cellar sounds incredible. How lucky are you to have a local, cheap produce place! As for me, I can usually find pretty good deals at my local Sun Harvest. Occasionally I'll get a good price at the big grocery store, but we usually stick to Sun Harvest or the Farmer's Market. Of course, the Farmer's Market produce is my favorite. :) <3Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-4196693217420330882010-07-29T15:56:53.217-07:002010-07-29T15:56:53.217-07:00Congrats on 100 posts! It brightened my day a little! I'm glad you didn't think I was crazy with the whole coloured food scenario. Honestly, I think it was an early form of OCD, but I do try to make light of it now.
Happy 100th post! It's really funny, because I think you started your blog a bit after mine, but I'm only at 60 something posts. Inconsistent blogger award goes to ME. Anyway, I'm so happy you stuck with blogging. Keep it going!
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to go to the market ONCE this summer...I've been doing random grocery shops IF i notice that the fridge is empty..my life is too hectic for a leisurely stroll through a farmer's market. I'm making it my goal to go before the end of the summer. I know we have some really good markets in Toronto and I want to take advantage of them. Love ya hun! So happy that we have connected through blogging. xooxxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-23626142345242672472010-07-28T18:39:26.184-07:002010-07-28T18:39:26.184-07:00Congrats on the 100th post! I make it a point to go to the huge (and I'm talking HUGE) farmer's market every Saturday morning. I love that I can actually meet my farmer, support the local economy, and even save on the fuel that would be used for imported goods. Usually it is extremely cheap, but certain things, like berries can be pretty expensive. I pick and choose, but I always try to buy local (and organic!) when it is possible and reasonable.

Have a lovely day!
xoxMandieehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01082550569165255745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726291072122833610.post-47069411666901496102010-07-28T12:24:32.778-07:002010-07-28T12:24:32.778-07:00Congrats!
