Abandoned Muffins and Chimpanzees

Sometimes my Mom will abandon half-eaten muffins in the fridge because they're
too dry to eat... and because she knows I don't succumb to muffin-discrimination

And the best way to quickly add moisture back into
muffins is to crumble them on top of a yogurt parfait!

1 cup of plain yogurt mixed with 1/2 cup (thawed) frozen berries, 1/2 dry

I love how the juice from the thawed frozen berries turned the yogurt pink :)

Followed by a Chicken Salad for Lunch...

Local Free Range Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast from Kildonan Farm

Grilled Chicken mixed with Great Northern Beans,
Green Apple, Tomato, Cucumber, Lettuce, and Scallions

The dressing was made by blending together 1/5 avocado, 1 Tbsp lemon juice,
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2-3 drops liquid stevia, cayenne and black pepper

Here's a new Green Tea I found recently...

Oothu Garden Green Tea from Choice Organic

Each purchase helps support the Jane Goodall Institute and
their efforts to protect chimpanzees. Now that i'll drink to :)
