However You Want It

FYI: Marianne @ From French Fries To Flax Seeds
has a giveaway here for Silver Hills Bread! Check it out!

This is what I woke up to this morning, beautiful moon just before
sunset. I felt peace and calmness simply by looking into the moon

I quickly headed over to Starbucks for my venti sized fix when I was pleasantly
introduced to their new marketing scheme creative venture "However You Want It'

You can now get any frappuccino you like and any way you like it
Hmm last summer I asked for a dairy-free version of a frappucino but it
didn't turn out so well. Maybe they could make me one that I would enjoy!

Enjoyed a Wildfire Bakery spelt orange raisin bran
muffinI may have to cut out spelt soon as im having tummy issues
again.I usually avoid gluten but I have a hard time giving up spelt!

The top was much too big for Mr. Muffin to stand up on his own :)

Before lunch time I popped into Green Cuisine to grab a take-out box of goodies :)

Potato salad, coconut curry tofu, black beans, steamed broccoli, steamed
kale, olives, mustard, nutritional yeast, cayenne powder. It's so weird, I had
their homemade mustard for the first time and it tasted just like wasabi...

I was so thankful to have picked up a bunch of sweet potatoes
at the store this weekend. I don't last very long without my fixes...

Question: What Starbucks Frappuccino flavor
would you create and what would you name it?

Beautiful photo of the moon!!!

I'm actually not a Starbucks person. Well, that's not true, it's more that I'm not a coffee person, hot or iced. I'm more of a hot tea drinker.

I'm actually not a Starbucks gal... I think my wallet thanks me. :p Your salad looks amazing!!!

Happy Monday!

I love Starbuck's but am not into fraps. My teeth are really sensitive and the cold KILLS me! I was there on Saturday and they have all the fraps 1/2 price until May 16 so it's really too bad I don't drink them. HA!

Oh Starbucks. How I used to love thee. But then you got too expensive for me.

I bet it would be great if they had a coconut flavor! That would make my day.

I love that you are addicted to sweet potatoes! I always have them around for spur-of-the-moment roasting!

I can't believe you woke up to that stunning site. So jealous! I know what you mean about spelt...I was going to buy some since I am still not eating wheat so far but your tummy problems make me worried as well. Maybe I will buy just a small amount tomorrow since I am out of most bread/wraps. That box of goodies all looks so good and sweet potatoes of course...gotta love them! Your comments on my post about my mother were the sweetest girlie! I would love for you to be my sister! thanks so much again, you are such a wonderful, kind person.

Oh, and frapp flavor...that's a toughie cause I am usually a straight up coffee or americano gal...maybe mocha but I am positive they already have that one. The only time I had a light frapp, it was way too sweet for me. I would rather sip on some iced coffee if it had to be a cold coffee beverage...

That's such a beautiful picture of the early morning moon. I love waking up early just to see sun rise and enjoy the calm before the rest of the world wakes up and starts making noise.

Hmm, I'm usually not a frapp person. Double-tall soy latte, please! But if I could have a soy frapp with a shot of espresso... hmm... ;)

Brittany said... [reply]

Your square top spelt muffin looks delish and a little "over the top" - I know, lame joke, but I couldn't help myself!

No frapp for me, I'll take a soy latte though. I actually want one right now.

That salad looks just fantastic. You won't believe this, but I've never been to Starbucks. Gasp!!! Seriously. Take care girl!

I have actually never had a frappuccino, I don't even really know what makes a coffee a frappuccino haha. That muffin top outweighing the poor muffin makes me laugh.

You remind me of my former self! I was such a starbucks junkie. I absolutely loved their pike roast, and I still love Tazo tea (although I usually boil my own at home instead of picking it up at Sbucks now).
If I could make a frapp, I would want something dairy-free, soy-free, and caffeine free haha. Maybe an herbal tea frappucinno with an almond milk base and sweetened with stevia or agave.
I'm sorry you are having tummy troubles again- I am the queen of tummy troubles right now, and eliminating gluten. Try to give up the gluten for a while. Didn't you post about some gluten free muffins before that you also loved? Stick to those for a while and see if it helps!
Hope you feel better soon. xox <3

MMM I LOVE bran muffins!

About 10 years ago they had a mocha coconut chip frap. If they could make that, light, I would be in heaven!

Anonymous said... [reply]

I'm not sure what kind of frapp I would make because.. I've never had one! I don't even really know what it is; some kind of coffee drink.

That bran muffin looks delicious!

Anonymous said... [reply]

I like to make my own fraps - starbucks might have some awesome ones but mine are cheaper! :)

Averie @ Averie Cooks said... [reply]

i think i am the only person who doesnt like fraps. i would prefer just regular ice coffee or a "thinner" beverage. when i drink thick cold shakes like that i get a headache. but i am all good with really sweet, really vanilla ice coffee. god i love those :)

That muffin looks so good - i love how large the top of it is compared to the bottom... besides the top is always the best part of the muffin.

I need to hit up that Starbucks Happy Hour for 50% off fraps this week. Not usually into them.. but I mean I kind of want to try out the green tea frap or light caramel frap since it is half off. I just like my Americano's usually.

Anonymous said... [reply]

The muffin and salad both look delicious! I want to try a soy light mocha frap, I may have to this week!

I am such a starbucks lady! I love skinny vanilla flavored anything. What do you have sprinkled over those sweet potatoes in the bottom pics??? looks incredible!

Karin said... [reply]

I'm more of a tea-person but I would probably create one without dairy but with chocolate ;).

Looks like all great meals!

Chocolate peanut butter dreams! Beautiful picture of the moon, by the way :)

That has got to be the hugest muffin top I've ever seen. I am very impressed :O

alex said... [reply]

you and those sweet potato looking friens :)

Anonymous said... [reply]

I've said it before, but I will say it one more time - your muffins always look so so good!! xxxx

Jolene - EverydayFoodie said... [reply]

I would create a dairy free (almond milk instead) duche de leche chip frapp - 1/2 sweet!

amanda said... [reply]

I definitely just went to starbucks today and had the nonfat milk white chocolat efrapachino. It was AMAZING as always :)

Ok, my kind of gal! I love the S'bucks! What is in that venti cup of yours? I am heading there this morning for a coffee date with my nana and sister ;)

Mmm if I was to make my own frap it would be with Rice or Almond milk and for sure a coffee flavour. mmm...

I love fresh mornings like the one in your pic!

Coconut curry tofu sounds AMAZING. And I agree - life without sweet potatoes is no life for me!

Anonymous said... [reply]

I love Starbuck's but I'm too cheap for them. When I feel like spluring however, I am a huge fan of their iced cafe mochas and their dark chocolate cherry cafe mochas. HEAVEN.

Anonymous said... [reply]

hmm...I would create a frap with oreos and reese cups :)

Tina said... [reply]

ohhhh my goodness I want your muffins!! they look amazing. and a big sweet potato for dinner is the best. even better with hummus and hot sauce though :)

Christina said... [reply]

I don't think I've ever had a frap before! Do they have orange mocha frappuccinos? I've heard that somewhere before and it sounds really good!

Anonymous said... [reply]

I don't care what anyone says...
I used to LOVE starbucks
addict
mistress
whatever you want to call it.
I HATE the new fraps.
there. I said it.
I just do!

The starbuck's idea sounds good! I always get weird looks when I order a green tea feappuccino with no milk, I mean, why is it so weird I want it prepared with water only? Is it so hard to put water in the blender instead of milk! hehe
have a nice week :)

Lisa (I'm an Okie) said... [reply]

now thats my kind of muffin top! I love eating the tops! YUM!

Ive never had anything but tea at starbucks...crazy!

Lindsay @ http://pancakesnpajamas.blogspot.com/ said... [reply]

I think if I could make a frap it would have to be banana, coconut, and dark chocolate. Heaven in a cup if I do say so myself!

dana said... [reply]

Does spelt cause tummy problems?
I've been eating it a lot too? my stomach is always a mess..
