White Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chunks!

My poor banana has been taken by SIN!

I blame delectable wonders of White Chocolate
Wondeful Peanut Butter by PeanutButter&Co !!!

Peanut Butter on Banana with Vegan Chocolate Chunks!!!

To garnish (hehehe), I grabbed a small handful of Enjoy Life Foods
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mega Chunks because, (in my opinion),
chocolate provides a needed KICK to such a memorably classic snack

Question: How do you "garnish" your bananas?

Squash Snack and Nut Butter Spread

It's a rare treat when I actually slow down long enough to get creative with my snacking

Leftover roasted kabocha squash from last night made for a perfect afternoon treat!

Nothing like getting the late-night munchies for Buttered Belgium Waffles

2 Belgium Waffles smothered in "Better Than

Peanut Butter with Honey

Absolutely in love with this Peanut Butter!!! I am not
a big fan of honey but I loved how subtle the flavor was,
not overpowering the peanuts but enhancing them instead

Today I spent the day with the kitties, slowly
more destined to become the crazy cat woman

But I made good use of my day, getting lots of chores done...

...and lots of blogging with Salem too

Here's a couple cute photos I captured...

These two make my day :)

The tree (back home) is lit and the Christmas Countdown
is coming to a close. I hope everyone is enjoying the season!

3 more days until Christmas

Chocolate Covered Fruit Loops Cereal

Because all Fruit Loops should be smothered in Chocolate Spread!

I had a hankering for a mug/cup of Fruit Loops Cereal in the afternoon,
and was excited to find Chocolate Butter in the cupboard to spruce it up a bit!

Each mouthful was deliciously enjoyed, in ecstasy

You can tell a little Snacking Squirrel has been digging into the jar... *wink, wink*

So next time you have a cereal craving, I suggest
seeing what else is in your pantry that you could add

Questions: Do you have Chocolate Spread in
your place? Do you eat it by the spoonfuls too?

Smarties Rice Krispy Squares

Whenever I'm feeling under the weather, I love to get in
the kitchen and cook up childhood favourites. And do I
have a treat for you: Smarties Rice Krispy Squares!!!

If you live in the United States, you don't call these candies Smarties, as they refer
to the powdered versions we call, "Rockets". But humour me for now. I also used a
mix of regular white Rice Krispies with the new Gluten-Free Brown Rice Krispies...

Start off melting 1/4 cup vegan margarine (or butter) over
medium heat, stirring in 40 regular puffed marshmallows

Keep stirring until the marshmallows melt :)

Then fold in 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal, turning the stove off

Now to add in the chocolate candy treats!

Gently blend in the Smarties with the Rice Krispy
mixture, a couple folds with a spatula is all you need

Ta-da! Now to transfer to a baking dish lightly
coated with PAM or any other non-stick oil spray

The best way to flatten the Rice Krispy Squares is by using parchment paper
or wax paper over top, pressing and smoothing out the edges with your hands

Try to even out the surface as best you can

Then before they dry and set up, score the squares, gently cutting into them

Makes about 20-25 squares, depending on
how big you cut them and how large your dish is

Serve warm or best, cooled, with a cup of tea or coffee

Question: What are your favourite childhood treat(s)?
