These look so good! I wish they sold canned pumpkin puree in Australia - it takes so much longer to make it yourself to add to things.

those muffin tops are huge! haha pumpkins mean fall and winter squash!!! nom nom!!

Yumm I love how giant the muffin tops are! I've tried a recipe for pumpkin millet muffins from the Rebar cookbook but I think I changed too many things in the efforts to make them healthier and they didn't turn out so well. I love the crunch that millet adds!

I just read through all your muffin posts. This is awesome Kelsey!! All of your recipes look delicious, and I LOVE how huge your muffin tops are!! Thanks for sharing the results of your muffin-genius. One of these days, I will definitely have to try to re-create all of these :)

So when are you going to start a mail order business so I can taste test some of these bad boys?

Anonymous said... [reply]

No lie - if you opened a bakery I would be a regular customer. How in the world do you get your muffins to look like that?! Mine are so tiny and pathetic. :(

Anonymous said... [reply]

Just bookmarked this :D This is the recipe I was actually most excited about lol. They all look sooo good though!

XOXO

p.s. I voted for you ;)

I love pumpkin and ginger...they are such a perfect pair! Your muffins turned out beautifully! I wish you could send me one. And I need to start adding more batter to my muffins tins...yours look so large and lovely!

sophia said... [reply]

The best part is the tops!! Why are people so afraid of muffintops? Hee hee.

Eden said... [reply]

Who eats all these muffins??? do you sell them? give them away?
When are you opening your bakery already!?

Sara @ Nourish and Flourish said... [reply]

Yay! I've been waiting for this recipe!! Do you think a GF baking mix can replace the pastry flour? I've never cooked with millet, but am excited to do so! xoxoxo

lynn said... [reply]

i've never had millet before - i bet i would love it, esp. in pumpkin muffin form

Kayla said... [reply]

I was looking for a pumpkin muffin recipe and I wasn't expecting you to have one! I made these except I didn't use millet or pumpkin seeds (didn't have any!). These are sooo good! The recipe made 24 regular sized muffins and a small loaf of bread! I decided to add dried cranberries to the loaf and I wish I added them to the muffins, too! I glazed the muffins and bread with honey, too! Delicious!

Heidi - Apples Under My Bed said... [reply]

Wow, yum! I just found your blog. These look amazing!! Cannot wait to try them. I agree with the 1st comment that we need canned pumpkin in Australia! I see so many US recipes that use it and lust after them so much.

You had me at pumpkin--how good would these go with a spiced pumpkin latte!? Drool!

Can't wait to try this recipe. The Market on Millstream occasionally sells the pumpkin millet muffins. since I fell in love many years ago - a bag of millet is in my freezer, that little ancient grain gets thrown into all sorts of my baking!!

michelle said... [reply]

These are on my 'muffin to make' list for sure! Looks like they came straight out of the bakery!
