After I bought these Organic Emmental Cheese slices from L'Ancetre, and
was beginning to make a sandwich, did I notice the label says "From raw milk."
Maybe it's because i'm used to pasteurized cheese, but this is pretty cool!
I rarely eat cheese, mostly because I am picky about the quality of it.
This stuff rocks, especially since it's already pre-sliced :)
Turkey and Cheese Sandwich on Gluten-Free Brown Rice Bread
Topped with sliced tomatoes, cucumber and black pepper
With a little yellow mustard :)
Quickly, I want to show you something interesting I found in last week's
local newspaper. It's an article on the "Secret of Superb Muffins."
Everyone knows that I wrote here on my blog that the key to bakery-style
muffins is to overflow the muffin tins with extra batter... this gives
them that nice big muffin top. Even though many people already know this,
I'd like to believe "Eric" has been reading my blog haha...
Either way, it's only reminding me that I seriously need to bake some muffins again!
I'll leave you to enjoy this free muffin recipe;
I'm off to go teach a yoga class!

Raw milk cheese tastes so phenomenal!! And I love the bright tomatoes and cucumbers on there... looks delish!
i really like the idea or organic cheese. i don't like the idea of hormones in milk in my cheese!
Your sandwich looks so pretty and vibrant! It's starting to make me crave mustard..haha.
I'm also hardcore craving muffins now.
Maybe he has been ;-) There is a local dairy farm that makes a raw milk cheese. It definitely has a unique taste.
raw cheese tastes amazing! So natural and good! I wish we had more of it. Lovely sandwich full of goodness!

That's one epic sandwich! I love building mine so they are almost too big to bite out of too. ;)
You seem to have such a wide variety of organic food available in your area. I'm jealous!
And yes you should make muffins soon! And then send them to me. ;)
Your sandwich looks AMAZING. Wow!
I have visions of you carrying a basket of prewrapped muffins with terrific "yoga friendly" names and ingredients and selling them (or just putting them by the door with a sign that says $1 and a basket...let that do the talking)....
Na-mmm-aste Muffins.
Shock your Chakra Muffins.
Svasana Savers -- like they will preserve that feeling of bliss after a class.
Just an idea.

I just made a Cranberry-Lemon Loaf that could totally be muffins :)
I LOVE cheese. Any type. That toasted bread looks so good - I haven't toasted bread in forever! Usually I just eat it without toasting...is that kind good?
I've wanted to try raw cheese or raw dairy in the past because of my sensitivity to dairy- I've heard that raw dairy is easier to digest and generally better for sensitive tummies. However, it is illegal in Ontario because of the fear of botulism! All dairy must be pasteurized. I have to go to Quebec or BC if I want to try some raw goat cheddar :)
Your muffins always come out so gorgeous- they really do look like they are from a bakery.
xoxo
Good ol' Eric Akis and his recipes. He must have gotten his tips on muffin making from you ;)
Sandwich looks fantastic!
love the muffin tips - your blog is always a good reminder that i need to eat a muffin
Yes, let's see some more muffins! Yummmmmmm
Keley oh Kelsey! Oh how I've missed you! LOL
I have never tried organic cheese! looks awesome though! So does your turkey! It loks fresh cut from the deli just like I get mine! How is gluten free going? Not gonna lie...it looks like you have a major bread crisis! I ate that same kind before!
I need to pipe you up a good GF bread recipe or two it looks!
I'm definitely going to try your muffin method next time I bake muffins. I always go by the recipe and all muffin recipes that I've seen say "fill muffin tin 2/3rds full. I was always scared that what would happen if I filled it more! I loooooove bakery style- huge muffins. MMmmmmmmm Muffins!
Organic raw cheese? uhhh -- AWESOME! I want to try it soooo badly now! Especially if you're picky about cheeses and love it! =) thats always a true sign of awesomeness
