Freak February Snow Storm

Although I scheduled a cute photoshoot post for this morning of me and
stuffed pony, I temporarily deleted it and will post it later... because I woke
up to a freak snow storm that hit Southern British Columbia overnight!

Snow storms are very unusual for Victoria... especially in February

And more of it is on the way!

And I have to pick up groceries, so I guess it's time to pull out my boots and ski pants

I'll bring my camera with me to take some more
pictures, since it's really quite pretty to look at :)

And you know me, I had to bring my breakfast outside for a winter photo opt...

Strawberry Banana Coconut Pudding Parfait with Prunes and Bee Pollen

Don't worry, if you didn't get a chance to see my Pony
Photoshoot, I will re-post it by the end of this week :)

Now where are those mittens of mine...hmm

Lol! Oh my gosh.. that's crazy! We got some snow a couple days ago but it was barely anything and it's already gone. I'm crossing my fingers that the snow stays away because I am SO ready for Spring now. Like, ridiculously so.

Ok, I hate the snow, but your coconut pudding parfait does look quite lovely out there. :) Off to check out your recipe.

I was wondering why your blog wouldn't let me comment on the pony post. Now that I've seen this post, I don't mind it. It's been snowing every day for the last few days where I live but it can't compare to the beautiful snowy fairytale you have. All I can say is WOW!

Wow, it looks cold there! Try to stay warm and enjoy that parfait!

I love the contrast between the icy landscape and the tropical parfait! Stay warm, that is indeed some serious snow...

Wow, that's so much snow! Although that parfait looks delicious, and so picturesque outside. :)

I saw the pony but I much prefer the snowstorm!! It's looks so pretty in Victoria right now... enjoy the snow while it lasts!

Brr, you're brave to go outside to take photos of your breakfast. That would be too cold for me! Stay warm girl! :)

So pretty!! I hope you stayed warm inside today :) I think that's my favorite part of snow storms - just watching it from a warm house!

I never liked the cold, but now that I've migrated to warmer climes I can appreciate a good snow photo. And those photos are beautiful! It looks so peaceful there.

Oooh surprise snow storms are so fun! I remember once waking up to a winter wonderland when I was growing up in California (where it NEVER snows!), and being SO excited. Now, unfortunately, I kind of dread it. A few feet and I'm over it! Haha...But I hope you enjoyed wearing your boots and trekking around today!

I am so glad I left Victoria the morning this happened! Enjoy the snow!

That looks beautiful against the bright snowy backdrop! Love it girl. I love to look at snow, but honestly hate it. It is just such a pain in the ass and turns a nasty color when melting. I hope the weathermen are wrong here and we do not get a winter mix tomorrow

The trees look so gorgeous with the snow on them - that is the one thing I like about winter.

Smile. The snow is so pretty. Moving from Colorado to Texas...I miss it some days. Thankfully I have friends like you to share the snowy wealth ;-)
