Coffee, Cardio and Chocolate

Stretching, listening to music and jumping jacks all help motivate me
before a workout, but nothing pumps me up like Caffeine and Coffee

Venti Starbucks Pike Place Roast Coffee

Most of my workout gear is from Everlast, nothing else fits
me as perfectly, resists wear-and-tear or feels as comfortable

After my trail run; Dirty socks and dirty legs

The mud and dirt only makes you feel like a legit athlete ;)

When I got home I immediately pulled out this
big bag of Frozen Muffins from the Deep Freezer

I wrap all the leftover muffins I make in tinfoil and freeze them for later. I purposely
leave them unlabeled because I like to pull one out and surprise myself each time. I

Luckily I pulled out the Zucchini Chocolate Chip Muffin. I quickly re-heated
and devoured. Nothing makes me happier after a hard workout than Chocolate

Question: Do you rely on coffee or caffeine
to help give you a boost before your workout?

I normally drink coffee shortly after I drink a huge amount of water right after my workout. Gives me an extra boost! The muffin sounds perfect too!

i practice yoga at 5am, so i don't enjoy coffee beforehand.
but i do drink loads of coffee during my post yoga five-mile puggle walk. i also eat my starbucks nuts whilst walking! it's a lovely, healthy feeling!

ack... im rly not a caffeine person, i find it tends to upset my stomach a lot, be it coffee (even decaf), chocolate, energy drinks etc... it's a good thing I'm a naturally energetic person :|

I don't always caffeinate before working out because I love to feel the natural energy boost I get :)
But once in a while I drink coffee or black tea before working out and it makes me feel so amazing!!! It's just the right boost!

I am proud to admit that I DO rely on coffee in the morning, which happens to be before my workout. It really helps me get going, and I truly enjoy the taste of coffee. It even helps me get out of bed! I long for it :) I read a study today that coffee drinkers may have less chance of getting skin cancer. The good research keeps coming!

That's so smart to freeze your muffins like that! I can never eat an entire batch- so I'm definitely going to start doing this.

I never notice a boost from coffee, unless I drink it at night (which I don't typically do, because it keeps me up).

I like how you freeze your muffins unlabled. Sometimes its hard to choose which type you want. I like getting a caffine boost (workout or not), though I rarely rely on it before a workout.

Oh yes, coffee and a workout are great ways to get going in the morning. And when you have an amazing muffin to look forward to? You're in luck! Thanks for sharing, sweet girl.
