Peanut Butter, Roasted Squash, and Banana


I project Roasted Squash will become the new Oatmeal


And SIAJ (Squash in a Jar) to become the new OIAJ (Oats in a Jar)


I used leftover Oven Roasted Kabocha Squash rolled and coated in Cinnamon, stuffed into 
an almost-empty jar of Earth's Choice Organic Smooth Peanut Butter, with sliced Bananas


And unless you've tried this combination, you'll just have to
 accept that times are changing, and oatmeal is losing it's cool

I'd much rather have Squash In A Jar than boring old oats. I wish Kabocha were as easy to come by as oats are...mind you, my PB jars are never THAT empty. Sometimes I get so impatient they're still 1/3 full when I make OIAJ.

hehe that looks interesting! i like butternut squash with tahini a lot, so perhaps i will like that too.

however, oats will never lose their cool! they're so yummy and healthy and i love them! it's interesting to me that you say that though because in the blog world, oats are very much a "cool" food that "everyone does." It's kind of sad. people should eat food because they like it, not because it's "cool." #western problems.

I can't say whether oats will ever lose their "cool" in my book...but, this does sound absolutely delicious! And I have a feeling it will give oatmeal a serious run for it's money. :)
