Cereal of Champions and Taco Salads

Breakfast of Champions: Nature's Path Multigrain
Cereal topped with sliced Strawberries and Bananas

Do you like my mid-pouring Almond Milk action shot?
Or do you like the droplets I spilled all over the cupboard?

If you're experiencing some Deja Vu over this cute Red
Mug-Bowl, then you probably remember it from this post :)

Okay, now it's time to break into these new Exotic Rice Toast Crackers

Because the Purple Rice & Black Sesame look similar to Purple Corn Tortilla Chips...

...I decided to make a Taco Salad!

Zoe inspired me to make this after I saw the yummy Nacho Salad she posted

My Taco Salad consisted of shredded lettuce, spinach, grilled chicken, grilled
mushrooms, tomatoes, red onion, salsa, cottage cheese, lemon juice, and pepper

Yea, not quite a traditional version, but it was mighty tasty ;)

And 2 thumbs up for the Rice Toast, they are definitely a
mix between a rice cracker and chip... not too salty either

More Than Rules

I have another package to share with you, but first things first...

Another Salad creation using Raincoast Canned Wild Salmon,
Eden Black Beans, Avocado, Capers, Cucumber and Lettuce

And a simple Dressing made with Yogurt, Lemon Juice,
Red Onion, Stevia and Cayenne Pepper + Black Pepper

Mixed and tossed together in a fun-shaped salad bowl

Whenever I eat a salad, I always have thoughts of "Oh, I should have
added ___ or more ___ ... and wouldn't ___ be so yummy in this!"

Now that my belly is full, let's revisit that package I showed you in the beginning...

After my Glory to God... and Sweet Potatoes post, I received a beautiful email
from Kristin @ Better Vita. Her Father, who has been an active ministry member
for over 25 years, has written a few books on the topic of Religion vs. Relationship

More Than Rules, It's a Relationship by Robert C. Crosby, is an honest and
straightforward conversation depicting the downfall of Religion, and the rules
& requirements that cause so many people to pull away from faith altogether

This is a book I NEEDED to read, and everyone NEEDS to
read themselves. If I could share with you 3 key points
from this book you can take away with you, it would be:

1. Religious people are not "good" people, and God doesn't care whether you are "good"

2. God wants only for you to have a personal relationship
with Jesus, one that you don't need to go to church to find

3. That relationship isn't about boasting, doing "good" things, repenting, praying, going
to church etc. It is your own unique connection to God and his Son; The spirit you confide
with in silence, that you turn to within to find meaning and connection in your life

You can visit the author's website here to learn
more about his books and the amazing work he does!

Thank you to Kristin and the entire Crosby family for sharing
your truth, knowledge, faith and insight with myself and the world
