Pure Vanilla Bakery

My neighbor came over with a lovely gift for my Dad, from
Pure Vanilla Bakery + Café, as a thank you for helping him

My Dad was nice enough to let me open it though :)

Inside the gorgeous pink box was...

A whole bunch of delicious pastries and baked goods!

"GIMME, GIMME!"

Sweet treats of freshly baked muffins and cookies

Pure Vanilla Bakery is a favorite among Victorians and Vancouver Islanders alike

I kept having to remind myself "Kelsey, look but don't touch!"

But of course, after I saw the chocolate chunk cookies, my
grubby little fingers couldn't help but get a little action hehe

Icing Glazed Currant Cookie

Of course, you know how much I love muffins...

Sticky Banana Flax Sunflower Seed Muffin

Look at all that sweet shininess and seediness

And my Dad's favorite...

The Maple Frosted Cookie

And because sharing is caring, I took a piece from each dessert :)

It was well worth the sugar coma!

That maple frosted cookie looks amazing. I'd have a hard time not eating everything in that box! What a nice way to say thank you.

Umm.. if you wanna send me that maple frosted cookie I won't complain.
Also, you might as well just throw the muffin in, too..

Just the way the package is presented makes it look that much more delicious! Presentation is half the battle, right? :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

Happy weekend, lady!

I can't resist anything maple-flavored! It's like a mini-addiction! Those deserts look SO delicious! They wouldn't have lasted an hour in my office!

Those look deee-lish. I think I've gotta hit up the bakery soon and pick me up some treats. I've been too lazy to bake my own!

Those look so yummy! I haven't had anything from that bakery because I am quite partial to Pink Sugar. They have some gluten free and vegan cupcakes. They are all SO good.

A flaxseed muffin? Why don't they have such divinements in the UK? So not fair! On the other hand, I don't know what looked sweeter, the treats or that pink box! x
