October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Last year I blogged about Breast Cancer Awareness here, but I wanted
to do something a bit different by featuring a Pink Ribbon product: Gum
Excel White Chewing Gum with Pink Ribbons
"Excel White supports the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation"
I actually didn't expect Pink Ribbons to be painted on each individual piece
of Gum. It reminds me of the t-shirt I wore back in April which I posted here
"Excel-erate your breath" while supporting a cause :)
On a completely unrelated note, can I talk a bit about
Kabocha Squash? As if I haven't talked about it enough!
Winter Squash is in Season here, and I couldn't be more excited about it!
I made another Oven Roasted Kabocha Squash and Vegetable Dish
Topped with Nutritional Yeast, Yellow Mustard and Brown Mustard
During the Summer, Winter Squash is usually imported from Mexico. You can
Kabocha Squash from Mexico has a lighter
taste and flavor, similar to a Butternut Squash
Kabocha Squash from BC has a starchier, potato-like texture and taste
And you can bet that I prefer BC squash! Bring on the starch!
Reminder: Today is the last day to
enter my NuNaturals Stevia Giveaway

The best part about you is that you know how to use your mustards! I love that you used two kinds! Looks delicious!
According to my boss from the farm this summer, fall squash is always the best because squash need frost at night in order to reach their peak!
