misinterpreted me though, and I'd love to quickly address a few things:

#1. I am only human, and being so means that, like anyone,
it's frustrating when you're favorite pants don't fit no matter your size

#2. I'm humerous and love make light of life, so please don't take me too seriously
#3. If I truly was mad that I gained weight then I would have chose
to eat Broccoli in the last photo instead of a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel

gah. you're still so awesome :)!
Girl, I just love everything about this post! :)
There's nothing better than roasted root veggies in the cold months... parsnips, sweet potatoes, turnips, carrots... yum!
You are such a smart, brave, humorous girl... I loved the last post and I love this one too!
You know that I love what you do here. I think that it can be hard for us to learn to accept our own bodies and the bodies of those around us. We all need to love the skin that we are in, and you do this so well! Thank you for sharing with us, again and again. I hope you have a wonderful Monday, my dear!
Kelsey; you are definitely super beautiful inside & out.
Speaking of beauty, your sweet potatoes look fabulous. Personally, I use microwaves to cook them, but I realized it's really bad for you...
How long do you roast them in the oven in what temperature? I want to know your secret recipes!!
Kelsey i ate sweet potatoes twice this week and I thought about you the whole time! First I baked them and sprinkled salt, cinnamon and ginger on top and the second time my mom made them in the pressure cooker with piloncillo! you should try them :)
And I loved your last post!
xoxo

my favorite was #4. more power to you, my friend!
soft inside, good. crispy outside, better. soft inside with a crispy outside, even better - yumms!
You rock :) Seriously. This was a great read for a Monday morning. Especially in a time of year where I find myself eating bigger bowls of oatmeal and more warming snacks "just because it's cold outside." :P Thank you for being such a great role model :)
You are seriously wise beyond your years Kelsey - I <3 you!!!
It still blows my mind that you can eat that many sweet potatoes though...
I have no problem with winter weight gain if it involves those potatoes!
he he he... I love #3. Just keep doing what you're doing, girlie. :)
I'm polishing off the lastof my sweet potatoes from my parent's garden this week. It's sadness. :(
Muahahaha...feel te burn...hehe-You are a riot! Love you!
those taters are next on my list :D :D
Your sweet potatoes always look so good!
Skinny girls should be able to comment on what their body is doing to, weight gain, etc, without ridicule, too! Every body HAS a body, and everybody has their own issues with it. Just because one person has what another person perceives to be a "perfect" body, le sigh, that doesn't make it perfect. Argh - biggest pet peeve. I've gotten screamed at by female friends for commenting that I gained weight - aka, "Shut up, you're skinny." Yeah, but I gained weight. Being skinny doesn't mean my pants fit. I happened to love the pants post. Hilarious.
i <3 the sweet potato fests! i bought a couple this week to enjoy with my roasted beets. now if i could just rid myself of this cold...
Oooh yay, more potato goodness! I wish my Christmas decorations would bring me potatoes...haha.
I emailed you asking for your address 'cause I want to send you something in the mail for Christmas! Wasn't sure if it went through or not, so I thought I'd ask again here :)
Great response, gorgeous! And sometimes its hard to express things fully through a post, huh?
My post this morning even was meant to be light hearted, but I guess it comes across as me being frustrated to some. At least you know where you're at and are happy with you. :)
Kelsey - I had some sweet potatoes yesterday and thought of you :) I roasted them for 10 minutes with some canola oil, then added some cinnamon and brown sugar, salt and pepper and roasted for another 15-20. They tasted spectacular!!!
I know what you mean -- no matter what size you are, if your clothes don't fit you are uncomfortable!
Personally I loved your pants post. I thought it was a hoot! :)
I've always been curious - what kinds of sweet potatoes do you buy other than the normal orange-fleshed ones? I've never tried any other kinds!
i love roasted root veggies!!! lots of great flavor and texture going on there!
and i get mad all the time when pants dont fit me right... they are never perfect DAngit.
I absolutely loved this post Kelsey. You are a real inspiration.
"#5. I value and cherish all of my readers and I never want to trigger anyone. Remember that no one can make you feel the way you do, only you can if you give them your power."
You're wonderful.
Also I loved "enjoy the burn little ones" hahahahhaha. :) You're really making me want to eat sweet potatoes!
"Because I love me for who I am no matter what." <-- my favorite sentence - well said! :)
Love your sweet potatoes! It looks like you acheived the perfect texture - crispy outside, soft inside, mmm. And with the addition of herbs and spices - wonderful!
Have a beautiful day, Kelsey!
we love your honesty girl!
Those look great! And you're right, we're all human! And we all have those times in our lives.
YUM! Those potatoes look fabulous :) I'm actually not a big potato person, but if they're baked like this, I'm totally down. And I always love sweet potatoes!
Sues
I love your potato pictures!(okay that sounded a bit weird...) But seriously, they look so good!
