Salads, Ginger Tea and Muffins for Chocolate Lovers

I would argue that Sunterra Market has the best salad bar in Calgary

You may remember these salads from my last trip here

Mixture of many different foods and proteins

Spinach, mixed greens, red onion, sprouts, cucumber, celery, baby
tomatoes, artichoke hearts, tofu, chicken, turkey, cottage cheese, roast
beef, hard boiled egg, salmon, and drizzled with a strawberry dressing

The lady at the counter noticed that I had a bit of a cold and wasn't feeling well.
While I was eating my meal, she came over and surprised me with a hot cup of tea!

Just goes to show how friendly the staff is at Sunterra

Ginger tea with fresh cut lemon and lime wedges

And I saved the best for last... Dessert!

Chocolate Lover's Delight Muffin

Made with dark chocolate chips and chunks of white chocolate

You would think they would be cloyingly sweet, but they are not!
They are perfectly balanced and provide a good source of energy :)

Fun Fact: I recently became the new
grocery girl at Sunterra Market in Calgary

Ginger tea with fresh cut lemon and lime wedges is not only a perfect relaxing drink. It's also one of the best sore throat home remedies that can be given to anyone who has a flu. By the way, the muffins look delicious.
