The boyfriend, a self-admitted ice cream addict, frequently
surprises me with his creative dessert plates and presentation
I bought him one of his favorite baked treats, a
Starbucks White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie
After eating the majority of the cookie, I suggested that
he should save some to use as a topping for his ice cream
Instead of scooping the Butterscotch Ice Cream from the box as shown here, he
decided to open the flaps of the boxed ice cream so he could pull apart the sides and
cut a perfectly thick rectangle slab (a good tip for those who buy boxed ice cream)
Once plated, he topped the butterscotch
ice cream with Nesquik Chocolate Syrup
And finally topped with a broken piece of
the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie
Although I couldn't eat the cookie because I am trying to stay away from
wheat and gluten, Reece let me steal a couple spoonfuls of the ice cream :)

oh man....I was diagnosed with celiac disease last month. It's awful...I am guessing it will get better but I had a breakdown last week just because I wanted chickfila nuggets.

My favourite type of cookie is homemade chocolate chip. I am a traditionalist :-)
My fave cookie...hmm. Probably white chocolate macadamia nut, or possibly peanut butter chocolate chip. Least fave is definitely gingerbread or gingersnaps. Gross!
