Chocolate and Marble Cake Party Platter

When it comes to entertaining, I rise to the occasion with cake

My parents were heading out to a party and my mom and
I took the liberty to put together a homemade party platter

The ensemble included my Triple Chocolate Fudge Bars, slices of my
mom's Marble Cake, Strawberries and The Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges

Served up and ready to hit the town ;)

I'm proud to say the plate came home empty and the desserts were highly enjoyed

This was a total Cheese and Chocolate lovers feast

Questions: Have you ever put a party platter
together? From veggies and dip to tarts and squares,
what are some of your favourite plates at a party?

Yum!! Chocolate and strawberries. What a perfect combo. I have never personally put together a party platter before, but I love the ones that are packed with cheeses, meats, crackers and fun little extras like olives :).

I love the name of your blog. I enjoy snacking on nuts, raisins, chocolate combined and my hubby calls it squirrel food. :) The platter you made is so pretty and such a great idea. The fruit and crudite platters are done so much that it's hard to make them amazing. I'm going to remember this idea!

Yum! I'd be the guest standing over this platter so I can slowly polish it off. :)

It looks so good that I could eat the whole thing by myself. :)

I do a mean cheese and bread platter. Also love veggies and hummus. Any fruit platter is loved by everyone. Mostly things I don't have to spend too much time making.
Your platter looks beautiful and I'm sure it tasted great.

Looks yummy! I love to do a brown sugar and rum dip with grapes, strawberries, and apples. I never have any left to take home!

Mmm loving that you chucked in some colourful berries to at least add a little bit of healthy on the plate as well as cake, just makes a good excuse to have "one of each" :D This looks great! x

That's a wonderful-looking platter! As a big chocoholic, I am eyeing that triple chocolate fudge bar and would go for that first.

That looks so pretty. I am a bit slack at party platters but I really like your idea of mixing it up with cake, fruit and cheese.

I think is a good idea put everything togeter, like this we can eat what we want, "sucré or salé"! Very nice plate ;)

This is fantastic and it incorporates some of my favorites: cheese, fruit, and I guess I wouldn't say no to chocolate either. ;) Beautifully done.

This is certainly a great way to serve up cake -- so creative! And as a chocolate lover, I can see why it came back empty! :)
