Meatless Monday

I'll be honest, starting up a blog as you may know or remember can be really difficult. We all want to pop our little heads into the blogosphere and avoid being type-casted as 'just another blog'. Snacking Squirrel may be a newbie blog but I want it to be a fun experience for everyone. I'm open to suggestions regarding what you want to see

Another gluten-free muffin from Green Cuisine. Brown Rice
and Coconut Flour Muffin with Chocolate Chips, Blueberries
and Pecans. There's even crumbled bits of Date Sugar on top!

Sometimes you want tea, sometimes you
need COFFEE! (sorry it's upside-down)

Hope he didn't creep you out! I don't know about ya'll but I love Survivor
Russell is the best because he's so manipulative and cunning. He's CrAzY too

MegaVideo is awesome! If you don't know about it by now.. you're probably watching
Hulu instead. But Canadians can't view their programming, so we stick to MegaVideo

Yes, you will see a lot of stir-fries on my blog. I like them that much! I decided to use buckwheat soba noodles today. I added leftover black beans, broccoli, spinach, gai choy, white onions, green onions, garlic, cayenne, chili powder, red pepper flakes, and Braggs

*If you're not allergic to soy, I reccommend using Braggs
in your meals. It makes food salty but without the sodium!*

J'adore Canned Pumpkin Puree

Perfect with cinnamon and a dash of ground cloves

Tomorrow night is the big eco-hippie fundraising party. The event is called 'Aries
Activation' and can be best described as a spiritual dance for young free spirits to
network and let loose. I know.. a little strange, but im going to support my friend.
I'm pretty confident i'll have a good time nonetheless

Oversized Plaid Shirt and Leggings... ah, that's the life :)

I'm also on team Megavideo as we also can't watch the shows on Hulu. Your muffin looks so good though I've never seen one that looks so.. mushroom (??) shaped ;).
Stir-fries are amazing, especially with soba noodles!

I love canned pumpkin too, with just a bit of spice. It's such a satisfying snack or addition to a meal. Have you tried it in oatmeal? It's good that way too...

Hey girl - thanks so much for stopping by my blog so I could find yours. Love stir fry too. So easy! I'm a huge fan of pumpkin as well. Almost went nuts when I couldn't find canned right after the holidays. Finally found it again at Whole Foods (same brand you're showing).

Holy smokes that muffin looks delicious. But is it weird that it reminds me of the magic mushrooms from Super Mario? I need to cut down on the Wii, me thinks.

I've always been really curious about Braggs; can't tell you how many times I've picked it up only to put it back down. I guess I'm a little too wary when it comes to trying new things :)

Hope you have a good time at the fundraising party.

Hey, thanks for linking to your blog, it's great! I used to be a vegetarian as well, but began to not feel that great. When I began eating meat again, I felt a lot better and had a lot more energy!

Hey girl! Thanks for stopping by my blog!! Your blog is simply adorable!! My only suggestion to you is to simply keep it perosonal to YOU!! I love reading blogs that completely reflect the individual, where the posts are not all about one thing. =] I really admire that you take such good care of yourself and returned to eating meat!! I have been vegetarian for about a year and just recently turned vegan, Im taking it one day at a time and just seeing how it goes!
Cant wait to keep reading! <3 <3

Thanks for checking out my blog!

I totally understand what you mean, it's hard as there are so many blogs out there. I think the important thing is to do whatever you like and to not make any apologies for it. People will read it if they want to, and you'll always find an audience out there, big or small. Have a great day!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm really glad that you did. :) I love the layout of your blog and yeah, I'm a BCer too!

How is it that until now I have never heard of Megavideo?! I've just gotten annoyed that I can't watch Hulu..

That stir-fry looks so good. I love stir-fries, they're so simple and almost always taste good. You just can't go wrong.
