Gluten Free Week

When I posted a couple days ago about my 'Gluten Free Guide' here ... I wasen't expecting much from it. Not only did I get lots of positive feedback but it seems some of you bloggers have taken it to the next level by starting your own Gluten Free Challenge Week!!!

Claire @ A Fresh Dille is currently on her way and doing fabulous! Check out her eats or send some support her way :)
If anyone else wants in on the challenge and wants to try a universal 'Gluten Free Week' for bloggers, post a comment below. If enough ppl are interested I'll look into starting one up.

I was going to do a regular post today but the power went out at my house! It wasen't even that windy but I live by a lot of trees that hang over top of the power lines, so I'm guessing a branch yanked on it or something. Since I didn't have a chance to upload pictures, I will resume posting as usual tomorrow.

And if you noticed, I got my new layout switched over. I'm still working out minor details... all the recipes and such are still here.. just at the bottom of the page now.

good night loves

That must have been so much fun working at a vegan restaurant!! You're right, it really is the best kind of food and you can tell by the quality and how you feel after you eat it!

Haha love the pic. GF has its pros and cons, but seems so hard to maintain! Good luck!

You are the sweetest! I am feeling so great tonight but won't have time to post either because I had to go visit my boy..we haven't been able to see each other enough these last few weeks!

You know I am in for the gluten free week...and hopefully some others can jump on. p.s. love that muffin...maybe I should make my first gluten free muffins tomorrow?! night lady love.

Thats so great about the half marathon! Its definitely early for official training, but obviously it doesn't hurt.

I can try to be gluten free for a week...although I use regular oats, not certified gluten free because I can't find them anywhere and I thought that maybe the trace amount of gluten in regular oats aren't so bad for the tummy. Maybe I'm wrong though...what do you think? anyway a lot of other stuff I usually eat is naturally GF so other than my oats I could totally do it.

How does your blog look so different from most other blogger sites? I'm not tech savvy...I don't know how to "prettify" my blog...but ive considered switching to wordpress because I heard that its more customizable. Yours is really pretty though. And very fitting for you!

I like the new layout!

I might be in for a GF day or two, but don't know if I'd want to do a whole week to start (I just love my gluten!! haha) I think it might be good for me to try a couple days though (just to see if there are any differences), so if you want to have a shorter challenge, I'm definitely in!

I hope to have a gluten free week -We just need the money to be able to spend on that type of food. Our loans take up our life, lol

Beautiful layout!!
And the GF challenge sounds like a great one!! I'll have to take part some week. I am interested to see the difference I feel!

hope your power is back on!

yes! I'm with you and it took me a while to realize the library also had cookbooks AND VIDEOS!!! I recently checked out a workout video because I didn't want to spend the money on it and it was a great variation for those few weeks!

Love the new layout!

I lost power the other day too in a storm. Sometimes I like it though because it forces me to get off the computer!

I'd be interested to see how a gluten free week would look. Having someone...aka you...structure it out would be beneficial because I'm kinda cluess where to start! HAHA!

I would definitely be interested in a gluten free week challenge.

I think it could be a fun challenge!

Sounds like my neighborhood - it could be blue skies, and no wind and our power would go out!

Hopefully it wasn't out too long - the longest for us was 3 days - in the summer no less!

Have a great day!

Sorry about the power being out...you are really calm about it! Unlike me, I'd be freaking out and on the phone with the power company every 5 seconds.

Love your new layout!

Sorry for the lack of power! Sign me up for the challenge!!

Sorry about losing power! I want to experiment with eating gluten free products, but am not quite ready to go a week with no gluten. Baby steps.

Yeah, I get what you say about the Law of attraction. They make the whole thing look as if you were supposed to say some "magic words", or like a recipe for success when is not like that. You are supposed to just send out the energy in a way you see fit for yourself!
And I'm still shocked about how much you run girly haha i want to be like you someday!
:P

gluten free....i am down with that as i dont think there is any gluten in my diet. you do it ill promote it! crappy about the power, i HATE it when it does it and i am in the MIDDLE of dinner...maybe i should just not cook like a smart person in a storm or something... haha

Sounds like fun! I think I'd love to join your challenge though I'd have to buy more gluten free food first ;).
