Casa Fiesta!

Do you get sudden cravings for refried beans
Mmm... I've forgotten how much I love them!

I call this creation my 'Texan Taco'... mainly
because I couldn't think of another word that
started with a 'T' and went with 'Taco'...

In a skillet I scrambled: 1/3 cup lean ground turkey
(or tofu for the veg-heads), 1/4 cup refried beans, 1/4 cup salsa1/2 cup spinach, 1/4 cup diced tomato, hot sauce,
and some 'Texan Spices' ...similar to Cajun spice mix.

Once cooked, I scooped the scramble in a tortilla
and grilled on the Foreman for a few minutes.

Enjoying more warming food is a major perk of Autumn
weather. Another perk is pulling out your sweaters and
pants stuffed away in storage containers. always feel
like dressing up in Fall more than any other month.

Oh but don't let these photos fool you,
everything was bought from Value Village!

Onto a little 'Vegan Bran Style' muffin porn...

Vegan Bran Muffin from Cascadia Bakery
just like the ones I made a recipe for here!

I Almost forgot my most important Fashion for Fall...

BOOTS! Fuzzy, cozy, foot-hugging boots!

I wish I could say these were vintage... but they're not. Originally has my heart set on some cute Moccasins but
they were sold out! Aldo was the only other store
could find with boots on sale, so I bought these for $60.

Before I sign off, I NEED to show you my new
talent of balancing oven sweet potatoes in a bowl!

Luckily we sell every color of sweet potatoes
here; Purple, Orange, and Yellow! Not to brag...

Okay, check out the process of balancing these bad boys...

First we create a stable base, then we geometrically
position them and pray they don't topple over.

 Successfully piled sweet potatoes :D

Question: Which season do
you like dressing up for the most?
