Gluten Free Groceries #2

Seeing what people buy at the grocery store is fascinating to me. It looks like many of you feel the same way, especially after the feedback from my last Grocery Post.
So let's take a look at what new goods I picked up at the store this weekend...

The only Hot Chocolate I am willing to drink my weight in, Peppermint
Chocolate Soy Milk by Vitasoy. And because i've already tried Level Ground
Trading's Bolivia and Ethiopia Coffee, it's time to try Colombia Coffee!

Plum M Good Organic Unsalted Multigrain
Rice Cakes and Only Oats Gluten Free Quick Oats

Wild Pink Salmon from Raincoast Trading, Cocoa Powder from Cocoa
Cuisine Camino, and Organic Refried Black Beans from Natural Value

Even gluten-free girls pasta!!! Tinkyada's Penne with Rice Bran Pasta

And finally, Free Run Egg Whites by Gold Egg and
Bradner Farms Organic Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Questions: What's in your grocery bag?
Did you buy anything new over the weekend?

Looks like you got some good stuff! I had an unopened box of quinoa flakes in my pantry waiting to be used and I finally gave it a try the other day. It was pretty tasty! A nice change of pace from my usual oats.

I just had one of your gluten free banana muffins for breakfast :) It was freaking tasty!!! I also eat a lot of the same foods as you, lol I actually called my sister over here to see the picture of your groceries and we found 5 things that we have the same of at home right now :D That soy milk looks to die for, by the way! I wish they sold that flavour where I live

Those brown rice noodles are my favorite, by the way! So good, taste like regular ones to me :) :)

New to my grocery cart was a whole roasting chicken for my crock pot! I'm excited to cook it!

And I recognize a lot of the brands you bought - I may or may not work at the place those chicken breasts were bought at ;)

I need to go to the store, so nothing good here. I love that brand of pasta and egg whites are always in my bag too since they work so well in gluten free baking!

This weekend I got my BF to try his first Larabar... he was hooked and when we saw they were on sale at a local store... we came back with 20. I created a bit of a monster, haha.

I tried that brand of pasta once and it was actually really good! I wasn't expecting much, but I liked it. And I'm really not a pasta person at all, so that is saying something.
My grocery bag is actually empty right now. I need to go shopping haha.

I am not going shopping this week! Well...I am only allowing myself to buy some fresh produce. I have wayyyyy to much food in my cabinets right now!!

Actually..I bought a yellow summer squash...because I don't think I like them and the thought of not liking a veggie intrigues me...I mean, they're ok and I eat them at a restaurant but I'm not charmed. I decided to try and cook one myself, Missy style to see if I can change my tune.

I SO love seeing what people have in their grocery bags, because the blog-world is how I learn about new products I can love!

On a weekly basis, we usually load up with cheddar cheese, broccoli, romaine, mushrooms, asparagus, meat, greek yogurt and whatever other staples need to be replaced!

We bought some of the same things :-) Bring on the chicken and egg whites. I love seeing what people buy at the market so this post was fun! Thank you for sharing all your goodies sweet girl!

Nothing new on my grocery bag - although I did make my very first soda bread! I'm going to keep on working on the recipe and eventually I'll blog about it!

That's why working in a grocery store can be so fun - seeing what people put in their carts/baskets. Although, I have to remind myself to not judge what they are buying based on one shop - I know sometimes I buy the most random things, and you'd think I never ate fruit or veggies based on single shops.

This weekend I bought some frozen raspberries because it's been far too long since I've had any around to cook into oats or make into smoothies. Good local berries too!

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about
this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit,
but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. An excellent read.

I will definitely be back.
