Raw Revolution Reunion

My version of a Tumble Weed Breakfast...

Organic Strawberry Yogurt with Banana and Quaker Muffets Shredded Wheat Cereal

Lunch consisted of an enormous Salad

Fuji apples, Garbanzo Beans, Purple Rice Toast Crackers , Lettuce, Celery,
Lemon Juice, Apple Cider Vinegar, Mustard, Nutritional Yeast, and Pepper

Yesterday I went to Planet Organic Market to pick up some
groceries when I spotted these Raw Revolution Bars on sale!

A few years ago I found them while I was in Saskatchewan, where I fell in love
with the Spirulina Cashew Barbut I couldn't find them anywhere back
home! So you can imagine my excitement when I found these at Planet Organic!

I bought the Spirulina & Cashew and Chocolate & Coconut flavours

The Spirulina & Cashew, with Sprouted Flaxseeds, is really sweet and moist

Raw Revolution Bars are softer than Larabars, yet have a similar texture profile

I'm excited to try the Chocolate & Coconut, then go
back to the store and try some of the other flavours :)

I love Raw Revolutions bars. At the 5k I ran in September, they had a basket full of them, and I took a few to try out. I really like the chocolate coconut flavor, and I agree, the texture is perfect.

Haven't had one since then though, cause they're so pricey. :( Hope you're having a great weekend!

The shredded wheat reminded me of a barrel of hay, haha! And your lunch looks like my idea of heaven - love chickpeas! x

How funny, that tumbleweed cereal! Never seen that before!
Your salad looks so easy but so tasty!
I will plan a chickpea salad this week. Shoot me: I never ate chickpeas!

I've seen those bars around but was never brave enough to try them :P I imagined them to have a strange taste for some reason! But if you say they're tasty, I'll try them!
