Frozen Cherry and Carob Oat Parfait

A Frozen Fruit and Oat Parfait is the best Breakfast on a hot Summer morning

Click here for the basic Recipe

Instead of Frozen Blackberries, Raspberries,
and Banana, I used Frozen Cherries and Banana

Layered between the fruit is Overnight Carob Oats with Chia Seeds

"My Cup Runneth Over" :)

I was inspired by Chocolate-Covered Katie's Chocolate-Cherry Bomb Oatmeal

With a cherry on top and a tripod of cherries on the side to garnish

Cherries and banana...I don't know if I would like that combo. I'm so picky with my banana pairings - we tolerate each other to an extent, but it's not my favourite fruit, that's for sure. Love the way the parfait looks though!

"my cup runneth over" - brilliant :-)
Looks like a great breakfast, just wish it was hot enough here for something like that!

Mmmm.. cherries AND carob? How could I possibly say no?! ;) I usually go for smoothies on warm days, but this looks like the perfect change of pace! :D

Have a super wonderful weekend!

This is possibly THE most creative breakfast I've seen in a looong time! I eat a hot meal almost every morning, but in 100-degree weather, sweating alongside my breakfast isn't the ideal way to start the day. :-p I'd love to try a frozen parfait. Thanks for inspiring me, Kelsey! xoxo

This is beautiful! And what a fun idea. I added oats to my smoothie the other day, but never thought of making a layered parfait of smoothie & oatmeal. How funtastically fruity!
