Best Veggie Burgers

My best friend and I went back to Salt Spring Island together,
only this time swapping muffins for the Best Veggie Burger ever!

The adorable and earthy Tree House Cafe in Ganges

From wooden architecture to a live tree growing in the
middle of the restaurant, this cafe is picked straight from nature

The friendly cashier at the health food store
recommended this to-die-for Veggie Burger

A hearty and "beefy" Veggie Patty with Cheddar Cheese, Mayo-based Sauce,
Greens, Lettuce, and Tomato tucked between two slices of toasted Ciabatta Bread

It's scrumptious Vegetarian Junk Food at it's finest! (Hint: It
tasted like a cross between A&W's Teen Burger and Mozza Burger)

Came with a side salad which I saved for later since I was still full from the burger

Spinach Salad with sliced Mushrooms and
Red Onion, with a Lemony Dressing on the side

This place is truly "out of this world" :)

I'm hitting up Saltspring on Saturday - perhaps that shall be my lunch. I do have a special place in my heart for a good A&W Mozza burger ;)

omg...would love to have a bite of that burger! i wonder what ingredients they used. there's a mushroom burger joint here, but i think they also add in a bit of beef/pork to the patties. i want a truly veggie burger like what you had! lol

This post brought a smile to my face...I went to Salt Spring Island last summer for a Mudgirls workshop, and we spent a few evenings at the Tree House Cafe! I'm dying to go back to the island someday. All this food looks spectacular!
