Save Time with Frozen Vegetables

On some mornings, the time it takes to chop and wash fresh vegetables
seems like the most tedious of tasks. And when I wake up with a heavy
head and eyes half open, I thank the veggie gods for Frozen Vegetables

Compliments Chopped Spinach a.k.a. Frozen "Nuggets"

3 Egg Whites scrambled with 4 of the Frozen Spinach Nuggets, 1/4
cup Cottage Cheese, 1/4 cup Red Onion and a pinch of Black Pepper

Tucked into these Spinach Pesto Tortillas

Wrapped and grilled on the George Foreman

Sure, taking the time to prepare and wash fresh vegetables/spinach
makes a difference in the quality of the meal, but when you don't
have the time feel lazy, frozen vegetables can taste just as satisfying

Artistically, I love the contrast of the bright green colour of
the spinach and pesto tortilla against the brown grill marks

Question: What are some tricks you use
to save you time when making Breakfast?

Overnight oats! I love that there's basically no work involved in the morning.

my poor foreman is in storage right now, otherwise I'd be making that wrap!

I absolutely love frozen veggies when times get hectic!!! I love the concept of a grilled breakfast wrap!

I make muffins on Sunday for the week...Often times I will whip up a quick and easy smoothie, throw it in a to-go cup, grab a muffin and go! It takes 10 minutes (including cleanup time) to get this breakfast going during the week!

I also love overnight oats! Being able to pull breakfast out of the fridge and be able to eat in seconds is fantastic!

I love frozen vegetables for quick fixes. I will partially cook my oats the night before and then finish them in the morning. Works perfectly and cooks them so quickly!

This looks delish! Frozen veggies are definitely a life saver. PS-the sweet potatoes in the post below look great as well :)

As a busy college kid, I use frozen veggies all the time (over 1/2 of it, at least)! I'm so glad they exist, or I'd probably be malnourished! :P I'm also not a big wrap fan, but you're starting to tempt me to try. ;)

Breakfast for me is usually sweet and quick (nothing cooked) so it's fast enough already!

I have no special tricks to save time with breakasts (besides making it the night before, or getting the hubby to cook :-))

No special tricks here. I usually just have grits or oat bran, or if I'm running very late, I'll just grab a Kashi bar.

Overnight oats for suuuuure!!!!!

Or I just make a smoothie, that's as quick to throw together (especially if using frozen fruits/veggies ;) )
