Summer is a time of travel, adventure and hitting the wide open roads...
Not too long ago, Reece and I jumped onto a Greyhound Bus
headed west to Sicamous, British Columbia to visit his parents
The approximate length of travel is around 7-8 hours one way,
which includes the frequent pick-up and drop-off spots and meal breaks
Views from the front of the bus
Mountains
Heading into Banff, Alberta
The weather was sunny and hot for the majority of
the trip, but a few spots were overcast with light rain
Heading into Golden, B.C.
Our little groundhog friend
Reece fed him/her some bread from his egg
salad sandwich, seen at the bottom of the photo
Rogers Pass
Driving through the tunnels
Everything is so vibrant and green, definitely a reminder of
what I have given up to come live in Calgary for awhile haha
Magnificent
On route to Revelstoke, B.C.
We arrived into Sicamous Friday afternoon and left Sunday
morning. I was so busy enjoying my trip, boating on the lake,
taking bike rides around town and exploring with Reece, I
didn't bring my camera out to take any photos of our stay...
But I did however take photos of Reece and I infront of a
nostalgic looking western motel in Revelstoke. We stood in
front of the room number that matches our current ages :)
