The Sprouted Grain Difference

You can understand the hesitation I felt about trying Food For Life's Ezekiel
4:9 Bread after the reaction I had with sprouted wheat in this post

Thankfully I didn't have quite the same mood altering effects, phew!

I cooked some dinosaur kale, spinach, red onion and mustard together

Cracked one egg into the bread bed in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat

Protein, Carbs, Fat: Check, Check, Check!

Perfectly runny and yummy for the tummy :)

Stay tuned for tomorrows post, I have a shocking
announcement to make. You won't want to miss it!

Hi Kelsey,
I have a question because like of you I am planning to eat differently to fix some ailments. My new regimen will include a lot of animal-based proteins. Every day I will have from the animal-product group: 2 x 4 oz portions of some meat - poultry - or fish ; 1-2 oz of cheese ; 1 cup of yogurt; and either 2-3 whole eggs or a serving of whey protein. That is all in one day every day. Do you think this will be too heavy on animal products for a day? And do I risk constipation? I will be eating a lot of vegetables, fruits, potatoes and other things besides this.
Thank you for your thoughts.

I really want to try that kind of bread -looks great!

I love Ezekiel bread - but only that one loaf! The other varieties are too dry/grainy for me.

Although homemade bread takes the cake any day!

Yay Ezekiel bread!
That's all I do, actually, in terms of bread and mostly their wraps.
So. Yes, I eagerly await to see if you try the wraps because they are different to work with. I have tried your kale and egg wrap (thank you by the way) and those are delicious, but never look as put together as yours. If you find the perfect way to do them up I will owe you big time.

You need to invest in more cookie cutters if your gonna keep doing the egg in the hole thing. The gingerbread man was cutie patootie.

I thought I was the only one who called leafy vegetables "dinosaur food" lolll, but it DOES look like something a dinosaur would eat!
By the way, I bought a jumbo muffin tin this weekend :) :) Hooray!

to anonymous: that sounds like a wonderful plan. the best way to avoid constipation due to increasing animal protein is to drink plenty of water. broccoli is also a key vegetable to help keep everything regular. also first thing in the morning and before bed on an empty tummy, try mixing 2 tsp ground flax seeds in warm water and drinking. this really cleanses out a lot of..well..crap lol!
