Spinach Pizza with Feta and Tomatoes

Vicolo Frozen Spinach with Feta and Tomato Pizza

On a Spelt & Corn Meal Crust

It's a struggle trying to find a delicious tasting and delicious looking frozen boxed pizza

I was quite impressed when I took this pizza out of the box; the
feta, spinach, and tomato toppings looked fresh, bright and healthy

After 20 minutes in a 425 Fahrenheit oven...

It looked very scrumptious straight out of the oven

The suspense is killing me, time to slice this up and dig in!

The Spelt and Corn crust made for a balanced consistency.
One slice surprisingly fills you up. Overall, the pizza was cheesy,
soft yet crispy, full of flavour; I've falled in love with a pizza :)

Questions: What was your favourite pizza
growing up? Is it still your favourite today?

That looks mighty good!
Spinach and feta is always a good combo!

I always loved my pizza with pineapple, and I still do! :D

My favorite growing up was pepperoni and mushroom! I used to have my birthday parties at Boston Pizza!

Now I eat a much healthier pizza, with a gluten-free crust and homemade cheese sauce.

My favorite growing up with straight pepperoni. Now, I've expanded my taste a little... pile it on! I'll eat almost anything other than canadian bacon. But my ideal incorporates pepperoni, mushrooms and olives.

Feta is never a bad topper, either. Love it!

Why is all the good stuff made in America? This looks unbelievably good for a frozen pizza.

The perfect pizza for me is with very thin and crunchy crust, salami, pickles, mushrooms and a good amount of cheese. And some spices either in the sauce or directly on top. My mother's homemade pizza was similar. Well, the crust wasn't thin but the layer of toppings was as thick as the crust :D

That is possibly the first okay looking pizza from a box!

I never really had a favourite growing up, but would usually go for the full on meat laden cheezy kind.
Now I'm vegan I've invented my own favourites, one being pumpkin + pinenut + a whole lotta other veges on a pita base.

That pizza looks SO good!! I've always loved veggie pizza with thin-ish (yet chewy!) crust :D

We used to get pizza hut. I was good with that then, but grew to not like anything, but their thin crust. Now I love socca pizza more than anything!

When I was a kid, it was cheese pizza with extra cheese... and you know what's crazy? In all the time I've been vegan, I haven't had pizza, not once. And given that I make homemade vegan mac n cheese and bake my own bread, I really have no excuse, huh? I suppose I might be inspired enough by your lovely post to give it a try. ;)

Where'd you buy that pizza? It looks awesome!

My favourite pizza as a kid was just cheese and pepperoni from Pizza Pizza. Now I prefer my pizzas full of veggies and I like homemade wayyy better than take out!

That pizza looks good! Growing up we did tombstones or pizza hut (Oh bookits, you only supplied my love for reading). Now I generally make my own pizza or I like kashi/what looks good in the organic section.

I've always loved and will always love simple pepperoni :) BUT I'm way more creative with my pizza choices now and this one looks out of this world amazing (though I could probably eat the whole thing...) :)

Growing up I liked pepperoni or cheese pizza ... today I prefer veggie with a LOT of green olives.

I was a pepperoni Ellios girl. Now I like it from the shop down the street, with feta cheese and all the veggies (and black olives!) Yum! I love my pizza. :D

I love the place where we used to order pizza takeaway as a kid. Now I've grown to love many other kinds of pizzas, but that will always be in my memory.
