There is always room for fun and art in the kitchen!
I made "Squirrel Bread" after seeing Squirrel Toast from the blog,
A Whisk and Two Wands. She did a much better job on hers than mine
Even Snacking Squirrel a.k.a. "Nutters" came over to check himself out ;)
"I don't think this looks like me, Kelsey!"
I made a vague cut-out of a squirrel and then added an almond in
his paws, a dried cranberry for an eye, and a cashew for his eyebrow
The tail was cut out from another slice of gluten free bread and
spread with creamy peanut butter, making it look bushy and fluffy
Let me just say I ate the tail as soon as I finished taking photos ;)
Not the most artistic work I have done but it's still cute nonetheless
Happy snacking!
