Playing with Cookie Dough and Pita Bread

I can't stop making these Gingerbread Cookie Dough Balls! Last time,
I spread some on toast... but this time, I dropped one into my Oatmeal :)

Quick Oats cooked in Almond Milk with Organic Banana and Strawberry slices

For Lunch, I got a little creative with my Pita Bread...

First, I opened the Pita Bread to make a pocket "cave"

Then I scrambled up some eggs, cottage cheese, spinach, and onions...

And stuffed it inside the Pita "Bread Cave"

Let me just put it out there by saying how fun it is to play with Pita Bread!

Around 2:00-3:00 pm my energy usually starts to dip and my blood
sugar starts heading south... which means it's time for a snack attack...

Elevate Me! Strawberry Apple Pie

All of their Bars come in fantastic flavours, its hard to pick
a favourite. It comes down to what you're in the mood for...

Question: Do you play with your food?

That pita looks delicious. I was planning on making a big egg scramble for dinner and now I wish I had a pita too!

If arranging food on plates and adding pretty toppings counts as playing with food, then I definitely do! ;)

Of course I play with my food! Where's the fun otherwise?

Oh I LOVE pita pockets! I can never seem to find any that don't fall apart though. Perhaps I should hunt some more. Or heat them first???
I don't play with my food, unless there is reason to do so (for example, sometimes Nick doesn't finish his veggies, shame on him, and we play!)

That gingerbread cookie dough ball in the oatmeal looks almost like matzo ball soup! but with the best "matzo balls" EVER.

KELSEY!

Yes I play with my food...I also love to create weird combinations of foods together...like you! I think there is something sensual about touching and playing with one's food, especially during the cooking process. I guess I like to feel like Nigella Lawson (who is a sexy British chef).

I LOVE playing with my food!! My family thinks I'm weird because of it, but you might as well have fun with your food, right? ;)

This post is kind of my food inspiration of the week! For some reason, it never occurred to me to add fresh strawberries to my oatmeal! It sounds SO delicious!
