Mr. Squirrel Needs a Name

Have you ever noticed that Friday's can be the busiest
day of the week? In such cases, one has barely enough time
to slosh down Breakfast before scrambling out the door...

I didn't have my camera with me but I had sushi for Lunch at a nearby
sushi shop, before rushing off to teach an afternoon hatha yoga class

I definitely look forward to getting home at the end of the day
and putting some Roasted Vegetables and Squash in the oven

Broccoli, kale, red onion, spinach, and kabocha squash

Seasoned with thyme, marjoram, savory, cayenne
pepper, sage, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar

The whole house smells of roasted squash, quite heavenly really!

And because I love all things "squirrel", look what my Mom bought me!

Ecojot 100% Recycled Journal/Notebook. For every 1 book sold, they
donate 1 book to a child in need... the workbook that keeps on giving :)

About a month ago I saw this in a little shop but didn't have
enough money on me to buy it... so when my Mom surprised
me with this Squirrel Workbook, you can imagine my excitement!

Ecojot made in Canada

Look guys! The squirrel has different colored nuts!
(*smirks and rolls eyes*)

Uh-oh, Mr. Squirrel has some competition...

He was very curious...

"Gimme that acorn! That's my acorn!"

Silly Squirrel...

Question: Mr. Squirrel needs a name, any ideas?
Yes, I have decided it's a male squirrel, sorry no sex change...

He looks like a Bandit to me.
Initially I thought Squash...but "Squash the Squirrel" has a weird ring, huh?

You have me craving squash right now. A lot. I'm really sad I don't have any on hand actually. Grocery trip needed!

And that journal is super cute. I'm such a cute notebook hoarder, I used to buy them by the ton!

Adorable!! I LOVE Ecojot notebooks (they sell them at my uni's bookstore and I always buy them for note-taking), and what a great idea to donate one for every one sold.

Haha cute!

I love hedgehogs the way you love squirrels! I give my hedgehogs very un-creative name like hedgie ;) But I don't think Squirry would work very well... ;)

So I'm gonna go with Kombocha like Kat suggested! :P

Love Ecojot products - they make the best notebooks, not only because they are cute, but because they are made in Canada and 100% recycled. Pricey, but awesome. I use one as my "recipe brainstorming" book.
