Meatloaf Meatballs

As promised, here is my recipe for...

Meatloaf Meatballs
created by Snacking Squirrel

1 cup raw lean ground beef
(or poultry or vegetable protein)
1/3 cup diced red onion
1 large whole egg
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp chili powder
Dash of salt and pepper

Toss everything into a bowl and blend
massage together with your hands until mixed

Fresh Gourmet Organic Seasoned Croutons

Note: Breadcrumbs will work too

Roll 2-3 Tbsp of raw meatloaf mixture with your hands,
forming into balls, and place into a small baking dish

Recipe yields 6 golf ball sized meatballs

Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit and bake for 45-50 minutes

Tip: For even yummier meatballs, add a dollop
of tomato sauce on top of each ball before baking

Serve with Mashed Potatoes and Steamed
Vegetables for a quick, healthy and tasty meal!

These look yummy. I make individual meatloaves in a muffin tin, but your freeform meatballs are so much more fun!

looks so good! I can't have croutons, is there a good gluten free alternative or can I just omit them? Thanks!
