Rejected Reindeer and Sumptuous Squash

With bright sunshine, deer in the backyard, green grass and
10 degree celsius weather, you'd swear it was springtime here!

"Umm... what are you sniffing for?"

Dasher and Dancer Two friendly deer prancing around my backyard

And now this one is about to take a piss ...thanks...

While amusing myself with ferile woodland creature,
I had some cubed Kabocha Squash roasting in the oven

You can find the full recipe here

Underneath the squash is an assortment of vegetables:
Zucchini, Asparagus, Broccoli, Kale and White Onion

I also coated the Squash in plenty of Cinnamon, which
really brings out the natural sweetness of the Kabocha

Then just before eating, I squeeze every mustard I can
find in the fridge Brown and Yellow Mustard over top

It sickens me how much I love this dish

Questions: Has the weather this year been
typical for where you live? Is the grass greener
on the other side or just covered in snow?

It's been warmer than usual here, too. Just waiting for the weather to bite us in the butt, though! Love when you post the deer in your yard. Such spectacular creatures....

The weather has not been typical at all - it has been GORGEOUS here!! Usually around this time of year it is -30 ... instead, the snow is melting and we are expecting rain. Bizarre, but I will take it!
