Fuel and Refuel

For the love of yogurt!

I absolutely adore Greek yogurt...but under one condition, it has to be Liberté

There are so many different companies who make Greek yogurt, but
I have yet to find one as creamy, non-bitter, and wholesome as Liberté

This morning I mixed the last 1/4 of the yogurt container with a sliced banana,
2 tsp chia seeds, 1/4 cup gluten free oats, cinnamon, and a squirt of liquid stevia

100 calories per 3/4 cup, and 18 grams of protein!

Delicious mess

I am proud to be camera-happy :)

With all this energy, what will I do with it...?

Go for a fabulous run!!

Then refuel...

Egg and ham sandwiches are the best :)

2 slices of gluten free bread...

2 poached eggs, steamed swiss chard, tomato,
red onion, yellow mustard, and black pepper

Exactly what I needed after my run

And to close out this post...

I bathed Camille! She loved the water which surprised me as I half
expected her to claw my eyes out at the mere idea of jumping in the water!!!

Questions: What is your favourite
foods to eat before you run/exercise?

Do you know a cat that doesn't mind water/bathing?

That's funny that she loves water - I've never heard of that before :-) Eggs on sandwiches = THE BEST!

Before I exercise I need carbs and protein, but it doesn't matter what it is as long as it has both of those things.

yes 100% agree liberte is the best yogurt! before I work out I like to have a protein bar or a piece of fruit depends on how hungry I am. When did you change your hair? It looks good!

Happy to see you're having so much energy! I used to love yoghurt as a child, but unfortunately milk protein kills me. :P

Since I've started eating lots of carbs and little protein and fat, I feel much better and have more energy. Protein and fats seem to slow me down and make me feel sluggish and tired. Porridge, brown rice, rice cakes, or beans with veggies would be my choices.
