Carob Banana Oats n' Quotes

OIAJ for Breakfast! Yay!

This morning's version of Oats in a Jar: 1/2 cup Quick
Oats cooked with 1.5 cups Water and 1/3 cup Egg Whites

Mixed with 1/2 cup Blueberries and poured into an

Topped with 1 sliced Banana and 2 Tbsp Unsweetened Carob Chips

Although I usually make my own Wild Salmon Salad
to save money, I decided to treat myself to the real deal...

Wild Salmon Salad from Planet Organic

Scooped the Salmon into a Whole Wheat Pita with some Lettuce

Who knew Omega 3's could look this good ;)

While blog reading this morning, I saw that Sara
Nourish and Flourish has the same 2011 Agenda!

Her Journal has different cover artwork, but we both
ironically use our books to fill with inspirational quotes!

I bought mine from Bolen Books, but they are
also sold in select bookstores and online here

and a single courageous step would carry
us clear through them" - Brendan Francis

Love your oat in a jar recipe (because it includes carob!).

That's a great quote and so true. Our fears, little or bit, unfounded or completely rational can be conquered with just a little bit of courage and a little trust in ourselves.

Kelsey, I love that we're quote book twins!! Let's start a quote exchange!

There's so much truth in Francis's quote. I'm adding it to my book now. :) xoxo

I love journals :) And those oats sound yummy!!! At first I was going to say it looked like you had mashed bananas mixed into the oats, kind of like softserve, but warm! That sounds like something fun to try.....!

I love salmon sandwiches!! I'm just bummed that I can't get Veganaise in my town, I prefer it moreso than regular mayonnaise. Can't get much better than wild salmon, celery, peppercorn, vegansise, and sea salt. Yum yum!
