Start of Summer

1:15pm (approx.) marks the official start of Summer!
To kick off the celebrations, I made a colorful Breakfast

Sliced Bananas and Green Apple drizzled with Raw Almond Butter

Nuts To You Organic Smooth Raw Almond Butter

3 simple ingredients that go so well together

To go with my Fruit Salad, I made my favorite Protein Latte...

It's been awhile since i've made Coffee, but
it's a nice change from Green Tea every morning

The foam is was so thick that I should call this a Cappuccino, not a Latte...

And you know how much I love foam!

Happy Summer Everyone!

I am so ready for it to be summertime. Hopefully the weather starts to match the season. My parents turned the pool on a couple weeks ago and it hasnt even been warm enough to use it. Im kind of heartbroken about it.

I just bought a milk frothier a few months ago and genuinely can't drink my morning coffee without foam anymore. I'm becoming such a java diva!

Woo! Happy summer! The sun came out today after a week and half of rain, so I'm definitely loving it! Hope you're having a great day as well!

One of my favourite breakfasts is a big bowl of fruit eaten with a big spread of nut butter. WHY have I not done this in a while?! Especially bananas and apples... they are THE best with nut butter, hands down, without a doubt. Amazing.

And the latte... yum. Does yours get frothy like that just from sticking it in the blender? I need to try that! Or get one of those little milk frother things. I love me some foam!

Happy first day of summer!

It's amazing how something as simple as nut butter and fruit can strike an amazing combination. Want want want. And happy solstice to you!

Lovely summer breakfast! Do you prefer raw almond butter over "regular" (which I guess would be roasted)?

I'm a foam-lover too!

Happy summer! I never thought of having a breakfast with apples bananas and almond butter but I do LOVE all those things, both apple and bananers taste great with almond butter. Gotta try that :)

Okay, I definitely didn't have enough almond butter lately!

protein latte?! cool!

Yummm I love almond butter with a granny smith. Something about that tart/salty combo just rocks my socks! And adding a banana to the mix would make it that much better!

Mmm... that is a great amount of foam! Looks delightful!

I'm that girl at Starbucks who annoys the barista by asking for "extra foam" on her cappuccino. But what can I say? It's so much more fun. And a protein latte is a FABULOUS idea... how did I not think of that? Definitely gonna give it a try. :)

Aaah, today was a REAL summers day here-- in the 80s! I love your lovely, light breakfast! Nut butter and fruit can do no wrong. I wish my digestion wouldn't hate me for eating amounts of it :(. I know my grandma would be jealous of all that foam-- she loves that stuff!
