Mint Chocolate Soy Milk

It may be too early to start breaking out the Christmas decorations
but I desperately wanted to add some festive cheer around here!

So kick back and unwind with some "Marbled" Mint Chocolate Milk

Vitasoy Organic Mint Chocolate Soy Beverage

"Rich taste of chocolate with a hint of mint"

Ingredients: Filtered water, organic dried sugar cane juice, organic whole
soybeans, organic cocoa, organic sunflower oil, natural flavors, carrageenan, salt

There was only about 1/3 cup left in here, so
I topped it off with some of this almond milk

Surprisingly even tastier than their Peppermint Chocolate Soy Milk!

The two different milks, soy and almond, gave it a unique "marbled" appearance

Oh, and the garnish would be evergreen branches
from one of the baby evergreen trees in my backyard

Question: Have you been feeling festive with the
Holidays fast approaching, or is it still too soon to tell?

Chocolate and mint is my favourite flavour combination! I need to buy this milk! It's too bad it isn't fortified with calcium and vitamin D though. :P

I always have to work so hard to hold off the feelings of festivity until they're appropriate!

I just bought that exact milk yesterday! Haven't cracked it open yet though...

I can't stand mint but I have always wondered what almond milk tastes like...

Truth be told, I bought my first Christmas cards a little before Halloween. Japan is a crazy place regarding holidays (and not only). They start preparing for each holiday months in advance and they don't even understand the real meaning of said holiday. Sometimes I get my first rush of Christmas mood by the end of August but the situation here actually prevents me from catching my usual Christmas fever too early. There is just something off-putting in the nonstop rotation of Christmas songs in the supermarket, fir trees, tinsel and fake snow everywhere starting from a time when the average temperature outside is about 75 and everything is green. But now that it is getting colder, I am ready to start looking for presents for my family.

Although I'm not a fan of mint in general, I do like the kick it adds to hot chocolate - yum!
