Pulling Out The Christmas Decorations

Around this time each year we venture into our storage rooms and attics to
pull out the Christmas decorations. As exciting as this process can be, it
can also leave you feeling overwhelmed by all the lights, garland, tinsel,
ornaments, and knick knacks that you've squirreled away and let accumulate
over the years, "Hey, it's the pasta-angel tree ornament I made in kindergarten!"

Here's most of my Christmas decorations, likely to be
minuscule in comparison to some of your collections

The light-up angel you may remember seeing here

Teddy bear in overalls, holding his x-mas stocking

The wreath I made back in grade school

The Grinch's pet dog Max in his Snacking Sleigh and the angel
statue you may remember as the "Sweet Potato Angel" seen here

Bags of lights and tinsel garland

Snowman decoration, cookie tins, and the works

Indoor/Outdoor LED Lights

Let the Christmas decorating commence! But where do I even start?

Questions: Do you have a lot of Christmas decorations
stored away? Do you use them all or hold on to them as
mere keepsakes that you can't bring yourself to throw out?

I've got a lot. Some of them are almost my age and I remember hanging them when I was in kindergarten :) .

I just went through all of mine this weekend and threw away 10 BAGS worth! I only keep the sentimental things and ones I truly like!

We have a fare about of decorations. We are buying more almost every day now though. We want more festive things going on around here!

i have a TON but also donated a TON this year. 2 big arse trees + many many ornaments + other christmas decorative items that didn't lend themselves to fond memories or to classy minimalism. i now have a charlie brown christmas tree (post on that is forthcoming). i like your xmas posts. lights are, indeed, very stressful!!! :) x

We hold on to tons of old Christmas decorations, but we use most of them as well. The old ones are the best! I'm so not into designer trees with matching decorations. Where's the personality? The stories? The memories?!

you really need to model! If not modeling...how about hand modeling...you have beautiful hands! How do you keep them that beautiful, I am serious! I am way jealous!

I'm all about throwing stuff out. Whenever I clean my room, I empty out at least one trash bag full of stuff (don't know how this happens!)

BUT. When it comes to Christmas stuff, I can't say goodbye. I hold on to *everything.* :D

Haha, I love christmas decorations! Unfortunately when we moved house my mum had to get rid of a lot of our stuff because we didn't have storage space. But I managed to salvage some!

Haha I love that pic of you- hilarious! Yay for Christmas decorations... my parents still have all mine at their house... But as soon as I get a bigger place, I'm taking them! So many memories :)
