Tittibhasana Yoga Pose

Begin this pose by moving from a standing position into a
wide-legged squat, hands in Anjali Mudra (prayer position)

Engage your upper thighs as you press the hips up and back, lifting slightly

Bring your arms back down through the center line of your body, cupping your hands
so that the fingers and thumbs are separate, creating a space for the back of your heels

Cup the back of your heels, thumbs wrap around the
inside of heel and fingers around the outside of heel

With hands and feet both firmly planted into the mat, press up through your sit
bones, lifting to create space to gently tuck the upper arms back under the legs

Slowly sit back down, not as far as a squat, just enough to
gently allow your arms to support the weight of your legs

Engage your triceps and core as you begin to lift the feet off the mat

Once the feet are lifted and you feel balanced, focus on using the strength of your
arms and core to lift the sit bones back, preventing the buttocks from dropping down

Sit bones rise up and back and the arms become
the center line of where your weight is balanced

I've been doing Yoga for a little while now, but I still keep getting reminded that I have a long way to go. That is some impressive arm strength.
