Christmas is Fast A-Poaching

Everywhere I go this weekend it seem all I hear from people
is how they cannot believe how soon Christmas is approaching

As I walk past the homes on my street, all I see are frantic neighbors
balancing atop their ladders as they string up their festive coloured lights

All of that hectic decorating, planning, and shopping requires
sustainable fuel; Two poached eggs atop two slices of buttered toast

Earth Balance Vegan Butter

Buttery Flavour Soy Free

Just a little bit spread on my toasted whole grain
bread to add some deliciously creamy flavor

Topped with 2 poached organic eggs and sprinkled with salt and black pepper

Remember how we talked about meal balance? Well,
this is a great combination of protein, carbs, and fats :)

Question: Have you started decorating for Christmas already?

Mmm, poached eggs on toast is one of my favourite quick meals :)

I haven't started decorating yet, but I have just published a post about all the cute Christmas decorations I bought this weekend! We'll be putting those, and the tree, up next weekend, looking forward to it now! :)

Mmm those poached eggs look great! :) Over thanksgiving my dad and I put up the house lights, but I think we're all decorating the tree when I go home for winter break, I can't wait!!

Yummy, poaches eggs on toast, a well balanced meal or snack! I've started my christmas decorations, though I still need to put up a tree at some point

I love eggs, but I cannot eat them when they are not fully 100% cooked. It freaks me out! BUT, I love your photography. I haven't started Christmas decorating :(

I've never made poached eggs before. I'm scared to try because they sound hard to make!

I've decorated for Christmas at my apartment at school, but my parents always wait to decorate until me and my sister to come home for the holidays. I can't wait!

No decorating here. I think it's happening next weekend. We often don't decorate until around my dad's birthday (which is next weekend), and we leave everything up until New Year's Day. That's long enough for me :)

you always take THE most beautifully crisp photos...what camera/lens do you use and do you edit them with LR, PS, no editing?

No decorating for me. Would rather be baking than decorating :)

I need to find that butter - I've heard good things about it! Your eggs are perfect! :D

If it were up to me my decorations would be up the day after Thanksgiving - my husband thinks that's too soon, so maybe this weekend I'll get them up!

Our house is decorated, and I love it :-) Christmas is my favourite time of year.

Your poached eggs look so perfect! I don't know how to poach eggs. I LOVE that Earth Balance. That is what we use at our house.
